Welcome to the Great Bear Cabin! This is the front of the cabin.(Pic taken in Spring). You can easily park two cars in the driveway. 

Experience our updated firepit adorned with charming string lights, creating a cozy ambiance. From there, you’ll catch a glimpse of the second deck with its own exit. Firewood is provided for your convenience.

The Forest Reserve is an ideal spot for easy hiking, outdoor exercise with some exercise equipment provided, and a brand-new playground for the kids!  It's just a short walk from the cabin. Plus, during blueberry season, you can indulge in picking delicious blueberries right here in the reserve.

Our cabin is conveniently located just a short drive away from the Dog Park, making it easy for you and your furry friend to enjoy some outdoor fun together.

Explore the beauty of “Minnie Water Fall” a charming waterfall nestled within the Smallwood Forest Reserve, just a short stroll from the cabin.

Experience incredible seasonal events at Bethel Woods Center of the Arts, the legendary site of the 1969 Woodstock Festival, located just a short 10-minute drive from our cabin.

Indulge in delicious dining experiences at nearby restaurants like Benji and Jakes, the Local Table Tap, or Santorini Mix Grill, each offering mouthwatering cuisine and stunning views of White Lake. 

Head to Lake Superior State Park, just 10 minutes away, for a day of swimming and rowboat rentals, all available for a nominal fee.
